Deputy Clinical Nurse Manager

I am looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to assist in the running of a beautiful home in Arundel, West Sussex.  The home offers quality of care and support to service users in a beautiful setting.   You will work together with your colleagues to ensure that the physical, social, psychological and emotional needs of service users are met.

Duties in this role will include:

• Complying with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times
• Being responsible for certain operational areas within the home
• Taking a significant role in the management of the staff team
• Dealing with issues concerning sickness management, staff training and development, and coaching and mentoring
• Working with the local community, GP's and professionals to deliver care that truly enables residents to continue to lead as full a life as possible

For this exciting role you will need:

• Experience as a Deputy  Manager with active NMC pin registration
• A good working knowledge of CQC standards, NMC guidelines and the Health and Social Act 2008
• Demonstrable experience supporting elderly service users, preferably those with dementia
• Excellent interpersonal and working relationship skills
• A good understanding of the disabilities, health and social care needs of service users
