Residential Care Worker

Rushden

£9.50 per hour

I am looking for an experienced Care Worker to work in a lovely residential home for young people with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and challenging behaviour in Rushden.

The job involves delivering high standards of care, protection and support to children and adults with learning disabilities and related complex needs by facilitating their physical, psychological, emotional and recreational development.

For this role you will need:

• A minimum of 1 years’ experience of working in a residential care setting
• Experience of carrying out personal care tasks
• An understanding of safeguarding
• The ability to work shifts, including alternate weekends, as is this is a 24/7 service

In this role you can expect to receive great training and development opportunities, including support through your Level 3 in Health and Social Care/Residential Child Care if you don’t already have it.
