I am looking for an exceptional person to manage a brand new care and nursing home due to open in Poole. This an exciting opportunity to set up a new home and recruit a new team. You will be given support and training to develop your clinical skills and management skills, including opportunities to gain qualifications at Masters level.
Duties will include:
- Recruiting, supervising and managing a staff team – you will need to utilise authentic leadership, role modelling and inspirational skills to motivate the team to deliver excellent quality of care
- Being the person in charge responsible for the day-to-day running of the Service
- Managing the effective use of resources, including the financial performance of the Service, and maintain high levels of occupancy
- Providing improvement, independence and choice for Service Users
- Complying with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times
For this role you must have:
- Experience of managing a care/nursing home
- NMC registration as a Nurse or Level 5 in Health and Social Care, and a minimum of 3 years experience
- Up to date clinical practices, and evidence of continual professional development
- Experience of recruitment and managing a staff team
