Complex Needs Registered Manager

My client is a national not-for-profit company who are looking for an exceptional candidate to manage a residential home for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in Northamptonshire.
Duties for this important role will include:
- Providing outcome focused support enabling service users to lead fulfilling and valued lives
- Working as part of the senior management team within the home to ensure well-coordinated service provision
- To lead, coordinate and supervise a team of support workers to achieve the highest standards of practice in customer care, achieving quality outcomes and ensuring contractual and regulatory requirements are met
- To promote positive internal communication and supportive working relationships between all members of the team and develop/maintain strong professional relationships with purchasers, health professionals, other agencies, families/carers, community groups and people living local to the home
To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate:
- Ability to undertake the CQC Registered Manager role and ensure that all the requirements of the Health & Social Care Act are met within the service
- A minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience and at least one year’s experience of staff supervision and management
- Significant experience of supporting people with learning disabilities including individuals with complex needs
- Ability to carry out a comprehensive assessment of an individual’s care and support needs, including risk assessments
- Familiarity with current government policy and accepted good practice in the provision of learning disability services
- Ability to lead, manage and supervise a staff team
- A relevant qualification (RNLD, RMN, RGN, RMA, QCF 5 etc) is desirable
