Senior Community Care Officer/Senior Home Carer

Our client is rapidly growing domiciliary care agency who are looking for Senior Community Care Officers/Home Carers to help with their expansion into Northamptonshire. Their aim is to help people to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible, and provide various support mechanisms to enable this.
Duties for the post of Senior Community Care Officer will include:
- Enabling and/or assisting individuals to remain in the community and enhance their quality of life
- Encouraging individuality and independence
- Helping to maintain relationships with neighbours, the neighbourhood and familiar activities and surroundings, providing social contact, especially for service users who live alone
Essential for this role are:
- At least two years’ experience of working in a caring role
- NVQ 3 in Care (or ability to complete this within 2 years)
- An understanding of the effects of ageing, disability, incapacity and illness on service users’ well-being
- A full clean driving licence
