Services for young people with Autism spectrum disorders

£25,000-£30,000 per annum depending upon experience and qualifications

Our client is currently looking to recruit a permanent Registered Manager for their autism specific services which include a 5 bed main house offering residential, respite and supported living services and 3 self-contained independent living quarters.

Duties for this exciting role of Registered Manager will include:

• Accountable for delivering high quality care to the young adults within the home
• Responsible for delivery of all care services
• Strategic planning for developments within the home
• All day to day management matters
• Organising training will be required
• Inducting new staff members in to the service following the new care certificate guidelines

Essential requirements for this role are:

• A minimum 2/3 years’ experience within a registered managers role
• Understanding, Experience and knowledge/training of Autism essential
• NVQ Level 4/5 Management, RMA or equivalent
• Full U.K Driving licence/car owner
• Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong leadership and communication qualities/skills essential
  • Ability to identify people skills and develop and mentor
  • Ability to prioritise tasks with deadlines
  • Strong strategic thinker and implementer
  • Good all round communicator
  • Person centred approach to management of service
