Registered Manager

Trafford, Manchester

Up to £65,000 per year

I am working with a highly rated, family owned national care home operator who are expanding rapidly throughout the UK.  I am helping them to recruit an experienced Registered Manager for a purpose built 62-bed nursing home specialising in general and dementia nursing, residential care and respite care for the elderly.   

In this role you will:

• Manage and be responsible for all aspects of the service
• Ensure all service users receive the highest standard of care
• Hold registration with CQC and ensure standards and legal obligations are maintained at all times
• Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families
• Develop, agree and evaluate care programs within the home
• Create strong links with the local community

For this fabulous role you must have:

• Qualified nurse/RGN status and hold a registered managers award
• A proven record in commercial business and home management
• A good working knowledge, with a proven record, of CQC standards
• The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide an excellent service of person-centred care
• A passion for achieving high levels of care
• A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful, good or outstanding rated care home
• Confidence to communicate and maintain excellent working relationships with all levels of colleagues, internal as well as external professionals, families and visitors
