Registered Nurse

Alconbury, Cambridgeshire

Up to £20.50 per hour

I am looking for a Registered Nurse to work in a service for adults with a learning disability and complex needs.  The service provides accommodation for people with varying levels of need or ability, some in individual semi-self-contained apartments comprising bedroom, lounge, kitchenette and bathroom, with additional communal lounge and dining facilities which can be used in addition as required.

In this role you will:

• Work within a nursing home environment delivering high-quality care
• Work as part of the care team, carrying out all relevant forms of care in conjunction with other nurse practitioners
• Ensure that care services are consistently provided to a high-quality standard and the personal care needs of residents
• Respect the dignity of the individual and promote independence

For this great Nurse post you will need:

• An RNLD or RMN qualification with an active NMC Pin
• Proven experience of working in a care setting
• The ability to show empathy, understanding and experience of the needs of the client group
• Well-developed time management and leadership skills
• The ability to work days and nights on a rota basis
