I am looking for a Deputy Manager to join a friendly care home in Kettering, which is home to older people, some with dementia.

In this role you will:

  • Assist the Manager in delivering high standards of care
  • Lead shifts and support the care team with best practice, training and support
  • Carry out assessments and admissions of new residents
  • Write, update and review care plans
  • Order, administer and check-in medication
  • Provide on-call assistance or cover in emergency situations
  • Ensure audits are complete in a timely manner

For this role you must have:

  • Previous experience of working in a residential care home at a Senior level
  • NVQ Health & Social Care Level 3 (or equivalent) and be willing to undertake further qualifications and training
  • A knowledge and understanding of dementia
  • Experience of leading a team
  • Experience of person-centred care plans
  • A knowledge of CQC regulations
  • Proof of Covid vaccination status
