Registered Manager Children’s Home

Peterborough

£35,000- £37,000 per annum

I am looking for an outstanding Manager for a children’s home in Peterborough for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.  The home is very highly regarded and owned by an independent, local company where you can really help to make a difference.

You will be required to:

• Ensure the smooth running of the home and ensure it adheres to current legislation
• Support the Responsible Individual in the day to day running and management of the home and staff team
• Ensure that the standards expected in the delivery of care are upheld
• Create, review and maintain care and behaviour management plans
• Participate in health and safety and risk assessments audits ensuring all are kept up to date
• Ensure all staff members contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the home and maintain effective communications

For this post you must have:

• Experience in a similar role or as a Deputy in a children’s home
• Level 5 (or equivalent) in Leadership and Management (or be willing to complete this)
• Level 3 (or equivalent) in Residential Child Care
• Experience of managing a staff team
• A good working knowledge of the NMS for children’s Homes and regulations
• The ability to take part in an on-call rota
• A clean UK driving licence
