Support Worker

£18,540 - £20,315 (£9.61 - £10.53 per hour) plus enhancements

I am looking for committed Support Workers to work in a residential home for adults with very complex needs, physical disabilities and learning disabilities.  The home is a real ‘home from home’ and supports people to live as independently as possible, whilst maintaining a family feel.

This role will include:

• Providing high levels of personal care (including washing, bathing, dressing and feeding service users)
• Administering medication
• Providing emotional and physical support
• Assisting with domestic tasks such as cooking
• Building confidence and life skills at every opportunity
• Supporting day trips out and appointments

For this role you must have:

• Experience of working with people in a care/support setting
• A willingness to deliver personal care
• The ability to support wheelchair users and use hoists
• The ability to work shifts, including waking nights (15% bonus for waking nights)
• A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
• Proof of Covid vaccination status
