Registered Manager (Care Home)

I am looking for a Registered Manager for a small care home in Northampton which looks after older people and those with dementia.  The home needs some improvements and requires someone who can work with the owners to make the home one of the best in Northamptonshire.  It won’t be an easy ride, but there is loads of potential in the home and it just needs the right person to bring it up to scratch.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations of home including recruiting and managing staff teams, managing budgets and ensuring that the quality of the care provided meets the National Care Standards.

For this post you must be able to demonstrate:

• Registered Managers Award / NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or Leadership (or equivalent)
• Previous experience at Deputy Manager level or equivalent
• Previous experience of working with assessments and care planning
• Previous experience of managing in a complex organization
• Experience of managing budgets
• The ability to motivate a staff team
• Experience of managing Health and Safety
