Residential Team Leader – CYP

Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire

£10.60 per hour rising to £11.40 per hour after 18 months

£30 per sleep-in

 

I am looking for an experienced Team Leader work in a fantastic residential home for four children and young people complex needs in Stoke on Trent.

In this role your duties will include:

• Leading a fantastic team of Care workers to deliver outstanding service to the children and young people
• Meeting the needs of the Children and Young People
• Maintaining the home (laundry, cleaning shopping etc.)
• Liaising with external Stakeholders and our own multi-disciplinary team
• Managing complex behaviours and crisis intervention

For this role you will need to have:

• NVQ 3 in caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent)
• At least 12 months Children’s Residential experience
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Effective leadership skills
• A willingness to learn and adapt
• The ability to work to a rota including unsocial hours
• The ability to do sleep-ins
