Referral and Placements Officer
Nottingham (some remote home working)
£24,000 + commission and bonus scheme
I am looking for a Referral and Placements Office to work with a provider of residential care services for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties aged 8-17.
In this role you will required to:
- Screen incoming child referrals and identify positive matches to residential homes
- Work directly with the operations team to secure appropriate referrals into the service
- Build up relationships with Local Authorities and other professionals to facilitate positive placements
For this exciting new role you must have:
- Extensive experience of working in Children’s residential social care
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or a Health & Social Care Degree. You must be willing to work towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Confident communication and negotiation skills
- Strong IT skills, in particular using, creating and managing documents in Word and Excel
- Ability to collate and assess complex and detailed information, received from a number of stakeholders
- A high level of organisation, working flexibly to prioritise and balance competing timescales
- A commitment to Safeguarding
