Registered Estates Manager (Assisted Living)
Basingstoke
£31,250 (plus bonus and paid overtime)
I am working with a provider of luxury assisted living apartments who are looking for a Registered Estates Manager to join their team managing an amazing development in Basingstoke. This is a busy role and will include responsibility for the care and supported provided, as well as estate management.
This role will involve:
- Acting as CQC Registered Manager for the scheme and ensuring compliance with CQC registration, regulations and guidance
- Leading and motivating a staff team
- Full accountability for the day to day operational running of the development, ensuring that all domestic and care needs are meet
- Supporting the business as it changes and grows
- Travelling to other developments to learn and share best practice
- Managing the promotion of domiciliary care services to residents
- Assessing the support and care requirements of prospective and maintaining records as appropriate
- Undertaking regular reviews of residents’ requirements in liaison with families and other professionals where appropriate
- Assisting in the internal audit and quality assurance processes and provides a high quality care, support and estate management function for the residents
- Ensuring that all repairs are attended to promptly
- Ensuring equipment maintenance and redecoration programmes are completed on schedule with the minimum disruption to the residents
- Monitoring budgetary systems for meals, food, domestic assistance and personal care
- Promoting the development and the assisted living brand within the local community
- Assisting with the resale of apartments by arranging to show interested parties around the development
For this exciting role you will need:
- QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent
- Competency in Microsoft Outlook
- The ability to work alternate weekends
- Experience of working with older people and an understanding the needs of older people
- Experience of working in an operational management role
- Knowledge of the statutory and regulatory requirements and their relevance to the post
- Experience of assessment and care planning
