Deputy Team Leader – Children’s Home

Our client is a national charity who provide specialist integrated therapeutic care, treatment and education for children and young people who have suffered severe emotional trauma.

They are now recruiting for a Deputy Team Leader to support the Team Leader in the running of the shifts and to actively participate in the therapeutic environment, ensuring the highest standard of care is provided for the children and young people being cared for.

You must have:

• NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) (or equivalent)
• Experience of working with children and young people
• Working knowledge of Children’s Homes NMS, Safeguarding and Children Act
• The ability to manage and guide a staff team
• Flexibility as this role will involve working shifts
• A full manual driving licence
