They are currently looking for the following staff to work in their residential homes for children and young people.

Registered Manager                          £28k - £29k + bonus

Children’s Home

Middlesex, Huddersfield, Warrington, Vale of Glamorgan

In this post you be will be required to manage a residential home for children and young people. The focus will be on providing the best outcomes for children and young people, and managing the home and staff to achieve this. This will include responsibility for the home environment, health and safety, budgets and leadership of the Home.

For this role you will need:

• A minimum of five years child care experience
• A minimum of two years’ experience in Management within children’s services
• Registered Managers’ award/NVQ4 or QCF L5 in leadership and management in child care (or equivalent)

Chepstow, Blackwood, Aberdare, Mountain Ash, Merthyr Tydfil, Barry and St. Georges St Ely

Deputy Manager      

South Wales

In this post you will support the Manager is the running of the home and take responsibility for the home in their absence. You will be supervising a staff team and ensuring that best outcomes are achieved for the children and young people.

For this role you will need:

• NVQ 3 Children and Young People
• Five years’ experience of working in residential childcare
• A minimum of one year working at a senior level in residential childcare

Senior Residential Care Worker

South Wales

This role is to support the Registered Manager in providing the best quality childcare in a safe and care focused environment for young people. This will mean supervising staff on a day to day basis and ensuing the welfare of young people.

For this role you will need:

• NVQ 3 Children and Young People (or equivalent as recognised by the CSSIW)
• Experience of working in a residential setting

Residential Care Workers

South Wales

In this post you will expected to work closely with children and young people, ensuring that their social and emotional needs are met, and helping them to prepare for independent living.

For this role you will need:

• NVQ 3 Children and Young People (or an equivalent as recognised by the CSSIW) (this is desirable)
• A commitment to looking after children and young people in a residential setting
