Deputy Manager (Nurse)

Knutsford, Cheshire

Up to £25 per hour

I am looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to work in a beautiful 48 bed ,home providing nursing care, dementia care, residential care, respite and short stay care, as well as end of life care in Knutsford, Cheshire.

In this role you will:

• Support the Home Manager
• Deal with the day to day running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager
• Work alongside the Home Manager to manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements
• Ensure the service users are receiving the highest standards of professional support

For this fantastic role you must have:

• An active NMC Pin
• A RGN/RMN qualification
• Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager
• Good working knowledge of CQC standards
• The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams
• Good clinical skills
• Flexibility – you may not always be in the office and would be expected to cover the floor or work alongside the nurses working 12 hour nursing shifts + supernumerary hours per week
• The ability work as part of an on-call rota
