Our client is a provider of residential and day care to young people with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities and/or behaviours that challenge. They are currently recruiting for an experienced professional with a proven track record to manage their 5 bedded unit in Kettering.
Duties for this role include:
- Managing the home
- Ensuring care exceeds National Minimum Standards
- Providing effective leadership
- Maintaining occupancy levels
Essential criteria for this role include:
- NVQ Level 4, or equivalent, in the area of care they are responsible for; and
- A Management Qualification at least at or equivalent to NVQ Level 4/QCF Level 7
- At least two years’ experience of working with vulnerable adults with autism and learning disabilities within the past five years and in addition, at least one years’ experience of working at a senior level in a residential setting.
- Knowledge of legislation relating specifically to Care Homes (regulations and standards), including registration and inspection procedures
- Possesses teaching, learning and assessment skills
