Care Assistant (Nights)

I am working with a privately owned care group who have a 42 bedded residential care home in the Walkeringham area. The home is a converted 19th century barn set in the beautiful countryside and has a large, landscaped garden which provides a peaceful backdrop for residents. Their fundamental mission is to provide care of the highest quality, giving comfort and friendship within a homely atmosphere while respecting and being sensitive to the individual needs, wishes and choices of residents.
They are now looking for a Care Assistants to join their friendly team.
You will be required to:
- Have the ability to work under pressure

- Good written and oral communication skills
- To provide the highest possible levels of care in supporting, assisting our residents in all aspects of daily living, including providing personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating
- You will be responsible for promoting our resident’s independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing
- You will complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring that 90% and above is achieved during all Monthly Daily Charts Audits
- Ensure you are 100% current with all your mandatory training throughout the year
Essential Requirements for Care Assistant
- Willing to study towards a Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification.
- A good reason or experience that has drawn them to care.
- Live within 30 minutes of the Home
- The ability to work shifts.
