Deputy Care Home Manager

I am looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to work in a beautifully converted 34 bedded Victorian country house in the pretty village of Yaxley near Eye in Suffolk, easily accessible from Norfolk. It is a quiet setting and the perfect place for high-quality residential, dementia and respite care.
In this role you will:
- Support the Home Manager and deal with the day to day running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager
- Alongside the Home Manager, manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements
- Ensure service users are receiving the highest standards of professional support experiencing life opportunities helping to promote growth and independence
For this great post you will need:
- Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager
- A good working knowledge of CQC standards
- The ability to engage with service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care
- The ability to promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
