We are currently looking for several experienced Social Workers to work in a statutory setting in Leicestershire. You will be working with children in need and must have the following:

Social Work Qualification
Driving License
GSCC Registration
A minimum of 3 years Post qualified experience within Child Care Work (preferably in a statutory setting)
Evidence that applicant has managed complex/difficult Child protection work & initiating proceedings
Able to write complex court reports/statements as well as giving evidence.
A high standard of written & oral presentation skills required
Experienced cross examination in FPC or County Court
An strong understanding/experience of working in a multi-ethnic/multi cultural community
Ability to work an IT system such as Care 1st.
A strong understanding of legislation (i.e. 1989 Children Act, Assessment Framework, Every child Matters)
