We are currently looking for GSCC registered Social Workers who have experience of working with children, young people and their families.

You will be required:

1. To undertake direct work with families where children are deemed to be in need to empower them to care for their children in the community.

2. To be involved in formulating and carrying out Family Support Plans which will enable the family to function satisfactorily without the need for statutory intervention.

3. To complete all required documentation in respect of processes to which the child is subject, e.g. Family Support Plans, Care Proceedings, Child Protection Proceedings and to ensure the relevant record is complete and in good order.

4. To complete S7 and S37 reports for court processes.

5. To work with family members and relevant agencies to ensure ownership of plans and strong channels of communication.
 
6. To contribute to relevant processes to ensure accurate records are upheld and to contribute to the development of information systems.
