Our client in Hertfordshire is looking for an Assistant Team Manager for a statutory Assessment Team. The role of the Assessment Team is to complete the initial and core assessments and undertake short term intervention for families in relation to the eligibility criteria. The assessment team will also carry out child protection enquiries where a child needs to be safeguarded.

The focus will continue to be short term intervention with high quality assessments, effective and timely support. Cases requiring a child protection case conference or intervention of the courts will be transferred to the Locality Teams as follows:
* Child Protection: at Initial child protection conference and
completion of core assessment
* Care Proceedings: at first interim care order hearing

You must have managerial experience and be a car driver/owner
