You will be responsible for the operational management of Hospital Social Work Team and the Community Older People’s Social Work Team.

Main duties will be:
• To ensure that vulnerable adults are protected through the effective implementation of safeguarding arrangements within the teams.
• To contribute to the modernisation of Older People’s Services in partnership with key local stakeholders
• To ensure Older People’s Services operate to required government standards, performance indicators and deliver Council priorities.
• To ensure the effective assessment, care management and review of the needs of older people and their carers who require and are entitled to services
• To provide community leadership and raise the profile of Older People’s Services
