A prestigious client in the Northampton area is looking for an experienced Home Manager.  You will be managing a 5 bedded unit for adults with learning disabilities.

Main duties will include:

• To ensure that the home is maintained and run in accordance with National Care Standards    
• To lead a team of staff providing care within the home 
• To ensure that all-current legislation in relation to Health & Safety and Care provision are adhered to  
• To maintain the home within the budgetary constraints as laid down by the proprietor 
• To ensure the safe running of the home on a 24hr basis this may include on call duties also

You must:

• Have at least 2 years experience in a management position related to the management of care
• Have good communication skills
• Have experience in the management of strict budgets within financial restraints
• Have experience in the recruitment, management and the discipline of employee’s
• Have a working knowledge of the social services regulations
